'I started to learn to drive about 3 years a go and had a really bad expereience, which put me off driving for a very long time. I then decided i needed to try again and could not of asked for a more supportive instructor. Dave was brilliant at helping me with my nerves and covered everything with me, in only 16 hours :) without his support and brilliant banter i would not of been able to pass at all let alone first time! :D Thanks again!'

I initially had driving lessons over 16 years ago but failed my test and gave it up. Around this time last year i decided it was time to have another crack at it. I started driving our automatic under my partners supervision and gradually got back into it. A couple of months ago i contacted Dave at no gears no fears and asked for his advice and some lessons. Dave was a fab driving instructor who instantly put me at ease as I was very nervous about getting in a car with a stranger! After a couple of lessons I passed my theory test and Dave told me to book my practical test. Throughout the process, Dave was very helpful and supportive and proved to be an excellent teacher so I progressed quickly. He explained things clearly and praised me when I got it right. On the day of the test I was REALLY nervous but Dave was great at helping me to relax and we even managed to have a laugh at the test center He sat in on the test to support me which was great. All in all, Dave was a fab instructor and began to feel like a friend. Without his help I wouldn't have passed my test. I would recommend him highly as an instructor.

Russell came to us after many years of bouncing between instructors and spending a crazy amount of money on lessons with little progress made.
It took over a year of lessons and a few set backs along the way but both Russell and his instructor never gave up.
