Extra Learning Needs / Special Educational Needs ( SEN ) / Special Needs
Well as the title implies there are a lot of different terms to describe how people learn differently. One thing we can agree on is we all learn differently. Some of us have more difficulties than others.
What we can offer.... Over the years we have helped many pupils. In some cases the results have been amazing, while in other cases it has taken a lot of hard work and dedication from both pupil and instructor. We have and can offer- Instructors with years of experience helping pupils with Extra Learning needs. Dedicated instructors who wont give up on you.
A patient, friendly and supportive environment to ensure learning takes place. Lessons broken down into manageable sections to help you improve. Lessons paced to suit you and not the instructor.
Offer help and support to parents and family to ensure learning can take place outside of lessons.
Deliver lessons in a clear and to the point manner to avoid confusion. Be there to help when situations get stressful during lessons.
In the past we have had success teaching pupils with various conditions such as- -Dyslexia -Dyspraxia -Dyscalculia -Aspergers -Autism -Various types of Head injuries (and the many complications that can result from such injuries) We are currently able to offer such lessons in the Rotherham, Worcester and Worksop areas.
Russell Higham Russell came to us after many years of bouncing between instructors and spending a crazy amount of money on lessons with little progress made. It took over a year of lessons and a few set backs along the way but both Russell and his instructor never gave up. As the picture shows through Russell's hard work and dedication he achieved his goals. Why cant you? What Russell had to say............."I cant believe I am driving on my own! Thank you David for all the help you gave me. I always new i had Dyslexia but after 2 hours David mentioned Dyspraxia? A trip to the Doctors and a few tests later and i was diagnosed with this as well. Not only did David help me to get my driving licence but because of the diagnosis it helped me in my working life. How is it that my driving instructor noticed but i work in a HOSPITAL and no one else did? David is not just my ex instructor but a friend. I would recommend him to anyone."
