Just sat waiting at my local Dr's, I had to cancel my 9.30 lesson due to my eyes being swollen half closed and red raw. (A big thank you to Louise Hayes for being so understanding.)
As i have some time to kill i thought i would just post this little tit bit about how we as drivers have a responsibility to make sure our eyes are fit for purpose.
It is a legal requirement to be able to read a new style number plate (2001 onward's) from a distance of 20 meters with if needed the aid of glasses or contact lenses.
Many drivers tend to neglect eyesight and this can result in not meeting the minimum eyesight requirements. The simple fact is we have a responsibility to make sure we are in full control of the car we are driving, if we cant see how can we do this?
Regular eye sight tests are a must, if you have any doubt as to whether your sight has weakened get tested. If you are having problems with your vision go see your Dr.
Well this is David still waiting at the DR's signing off, stay safe and hope you are all enjoying the Sun :-)
